Welcome to our website!
Marsden Parish Church Amateur Operatic and Dramatic Society has been performing plays and musicals since 1926 when the society was first founded to raise funds to build the Parochial Hall.
In the years since the first production of The Mikado we have entertained audiences with shows as diverse as The Desert Song to The Full Monty and have a reputation for putting on excellent shows.
New members are always welcome, if you feel that you could help with our productions either on stage or back stage then please contact us using the contact tab on this site.

A word from our chairman
In a time where many amateur societies seem to be struggling we are very fortunate to have a great base in the Parochial Hall and a wonderful team of performing and backstage people – who all put in a great deal of time and effort to ensure that we continue to provide top-quality entertainment for our audiences.
We recently enjoyed a fabulous week of entertainment with ourhugely succesful production of ‘Annie’. We had a wonderful cast of 30 children plus a great selection of adults and I am happy to say that we played to full houses all week.
Our next production is the play, ‘Where is the Life?’, written and produced by Martin Roache. This is a hilarious black comedy set in a home for retired gentlemen of the stage. Tickets for this playwill be on sale in 2017, watch this site or our Facebook page for details.
If you enjoy our shows and would like to get involved with the society then we are always keen to welcome new members! For further information just go to the ‘Contact Us’ page on this website and drop us an email, we look forward to hearing from you.
